Start in the crockpot either on low for 4 hours or keep warm for 8-10. I usually start with frozen chicken and broth.
On stove top, cook for 1 hour.
Add either frozen or canned veggies including peas, carrots, green beans (basically what we have the most of).
Cook in crockpot for an additional 2 hours on high or on the stove for 2 hours on low.
one can of corn and one can of tomatoes
1/2 cup of steak sauce
1/4 cup of ketchup
Cook in crockpot an additional two hours on low. I leave in the pot and place on keep warm the rest of day once it starts to boil. On the stovetop it cooks in about 30 minutes on medium then down to lowest level or simply turn off.
